Kiriha can make multiple extensions or "branches" of obi; these are what make up all of her weaves and attacks.

One technique is to make a tangled ball partly woven. This helps with spead of weave, as well as masking what attack will come next by making the shape obscured until the last moment.

One of the more powerful techniques is using the obi weave in a way similar to muscles to increase the user's arm or leg strength. This can only be done with an actual user; Kiriha cannot use it by herself.

A tsugumomo's most powerful ability is to meld with its master and for them to temporarily act as one, greatly enhancing the user's speed, reflexes and strength. The boost lasts for only one hour though, and leaves the user completely unable to move for 24 hours, and the tsugumomo unable to use any of their powers for the same amount of time.
